BDBMapVote 304 / MapVoteLA13 Mutator Info

BDBMapVote 304 was created by Bruce Bickar aka BDB.

Voting
This will let players control which maps are played on our server through voting.
The map vote window pops up at the end of each match to let you vote. You can also vote at anytime by pressing your assigned mapvote key. If enough people vote in the middle of a match then a mid-game vote is started, the map vote screen comes up on everyones screen and the map will change.

Voting Modes
There are four different modes of voting our server uses accumulation mode.
 1.Majority - Each player can place 1 vote.
 2.Elimination - Maps are removed from the list until there is a specific number of maps left.
 3.Score - The players score is used as the amount of votes that player can place.
 4.Accumulation - If a player voted for a map that did not win that vote is carried onto the
next game.

Map Repeat Limit
With BDBMapVote we can set a repeat limit to any number of maps. This stops the same maps being played over and over again. A map that is temporarily unavailable because it has been played within the repeat limit is highlighted in red.

Kick Vote
BDBMapVote also has a kick vote feature. If a player has enough votes against him he will be kicked for the remainder of a match. This feature was open to abuse and has been disabled on our server.

Vote Key
When you join a server with BDBMapVote for the first time you are asked to assign a vote key. I chose F8 because I wont accidentally hit that key in a match, but you can chose any key you want.

You will see this window pop up just click on the key you want then press "set/save".
Note: A lot of players accidentally set the map vote key to shoot or forward so it pops up everytime they press that key. If this happens just go to "Options" then "Preferences" then "Controls" and reset the key.
You could also find the file "user.ini" in your Unreal Tournament system folder and edit this file, the MapVote mutate command is MUTATE BDBMAPVOTE VOTEMENU.
